About Us

The Weatherby Lake Yacht Club is a sailing, boating and social club. We provide sailboat racing every weekend from April through October and youth sailing instruction through our Junior Sailing program. We also sponsor boating activities for our pontoon and runabout owning members, adult sailing instruction, and host social activities and parties nearly every month of the year.

Founded in 1966 as the Sailing Club, we changed our name to the Weatherby Lake Yacht Club in 1988. Since then we have expanded our fleet to include sailboats, pontoons and runabouts. Membership is open to all lake residents and property owners at Weatherby Lake. You don't have to own a boat to be an active member but you must enjoy having fun!
