Racing Forms, Rules & Links

The Weatherby Lake Yacht Club races three series each year from April through October.  Known as Series 1, Series 2 and Series 3, these races are on Sundays beginning at 1:30 pm.  Please see the Events Calendar for the race schedule.

In order to race you will need to fill out a registration form and familiarize yourself with the rules.  Below are links to the registration form, sailing instructions and and the notice of race.

The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) is published every four years by World Sailing, the international authority for the sport. These rules, amended by US "prescriptions," govern sailboat racing in the United States and in the portions of international races that pass-through US waters. The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2021-2024 take effect on January 1, 2021.

The Weatherby Lake Yacht Club follows the World Sailing Racing Rules of Sailing with some changes to the flag rules specific to Weatherby Lake.
